College Guide to Dating: Whom to date?

Most of us may ask the above question before you decide to propose someone for dating in college. It is very crucial to know whom to date in college dating because, your future may depend on this.

The college life forms an important era in somebody’s life. For most of us, college life is very important because, you get to know yourself much. It gives a complete freedom to the young people and they start thinking of building some relationships outside their home. But you should be careful to select what type of person you are selecting for the dating.

The best person to date here could be somebody from your class or he or she could be your professor. Dating someone who is from your own class has an edge over the latter, because, in this case, you get to know the person better and most probability, both of you share the same interest. He or she belongs to the same age and you can always initiate the discussion with your classmate by asking for some notes or like that.

Whereas, if you are mature enough and think that you better fit with the people who are much or little elder to you, then you should be dating a professor. In most of the cases, you have a huge crush on your professor and therefore, you feel good when you are dating with him. Dating a professor is much more beneficial than dating your classmate, because you get to know many things from the person who is much more experienced in your life. But dating a professor has certain disadvantages. First of all, your professors, being much matured than you, it is possible that he plays around with you and therefore, you need to cautious. Dating your professors can lead to certain worst consequences, because you may become a matter of gossip among your friends in college and may also effect your relation with your other friends.

You may date your friend’s ex boy friend or girl friend, but be very sure about if your friend is happy with that, else you may end up with loosing a wonderful friend in your life.

Going on a date with someone, helps you to understand him or her better because both of you would be alone with each other and will find enough time to spend with each other. Always remember, do trust the person, whom you`re dating, but do not trust him blindly. Whenever, you go on a party or a bar, always refrain yourself from liquor or any alcoholic drinks. You may end up with paying a heavy price incase you are not careful of yourself. As long as possible, avoid sexual relationship with your partner and if you do involve in a sexual relation, make sure, it is within limits.

College dating forms an important part in our life. For most of us, it is the first time that we go into any love relationship. For some, the college dating may end up with a marriage.
