The world has become a global village! Connecting to friends on the web is in these days. As the number of friends and people that we reach out to through our blogs, web pages, tweets, profiles etc. is increasing exponentially, the wider our people network is growing. The mantra of the generation is “the more the merrier”. With such a wide network of friends, when it comes to choosing the only one and special for yourself, you are spoilt for choices. If you want to, you can go for the muscular honcho or for the intelligent geek.  You are friends with the hot blonde as well as the smart brunette. But when it comes to the deciding factor, it has to be compatibility that you should take care of. Go for the one whom you share likes, dislikes, hobbies etc. with.

Some people waste many dates in college in getting to know the person, only to realize towards the end that they don’t like the person. At many times, such a situation leads to heartache on one of the sides. Wouldn’t it have been good to avoid this all! Well, it can be avoided. You can search through all the profiles for someone you like and then initiate a conversation online. If you think, the two of you click, then you can set up an outing like a movie or a carnival. Going for a first date to a public place is preferable as you may feel awkward in a private setting. But from then on, your relationship will bloom!

You may have seen a lass in the college for whom you fell for but have not been able to find about. Fear not, if she is in the college, she is on the web too! Go browse and there she may be, waiting for you! Or do you have a long lost high school sweetheart, go find him on the web, and for all you may know he may be in the college next door!
